Two Academy Gymnastic Club members enjoyed success for Wales in a recent international competition.

PRIME Gymnastics Club, a member of Singapore Gymnastics held their annual Prime International competition at Bishan Sports Hall, with over 300 overseas competitors registered.

Wales sent a team to the competition with two Academy gymnasts selected to attend the event for Wales. Fifteen-year-old Hollie Moore was selected to represent Wales in the junior FIG section and 11-year-old Eloise Aitken was also selected to represent Wales in the NDP level 7 category.

Both Academy girls have represented Wales on numerous occasions, and once again stepped up to the mark and brought home trophies and medals.

Hollie was placed second on vault, bars and floor. Individually, the Welsh girls took the top three places on each of the apparatus and in the all-around event. Hollie took the silver all-round medal and the Welsh juniors also took the team gold trophy.

Eloise also put in an excellent all-round performance to be placed third on vault and beam and second on bars and floor. Again Wales dominated the top positions with Eloise taking the silver all-round medal and the Welsh team also taking the gold trophy.
