Broadoak Community School pupil Hollie Moore recently represented Wales in the Northern European Gymnastic Championships in Sweden.

HOLLIE Moore, aged 14, a student at Broadoak Mathematics and 
Computing College in Weston, received an opportunity to represent Wales in the Northern European Gymnastic Championships in Sweden.

The championships were held in Uppsala, saw representatives from 10 nations take part - Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Sweden and Wales.

Hollie, who trains at The Academy in Portishead, gained valuable international competitive experience on the Welsh team, 
performing with class and confidence among older and more 
experienced gymnasts.

Hollie put in some great team performances to help Wales take the team silver medal, just behind the hosts, Sweden.
