Three Clevedon Athletic Club members took part in the Frenchay 10k, with great results.

First held in 1980, the Frenchay 10k is one of the oldest local events.

Three Clevedon athletes competed in this year’s race, which starts and finishes at Blackberry Hill. Hills were a feature around the course and runners were faced with the biggest one in the last stretch to the finish.

The varied course produced great results and many congratulations to Jodie Withyman who was first home for Clevedon and fourth lady in 43.15, closely followed by Jason Lammie 43.58 and Lindsey Kestle 45.03, sixth lady.

If you want to join in with the success of Clevedon Athletic Club, please come along to a training session, full details on the website.

Online entry is now open for the Midsummer 10k on June 12 at 7.30pm. The popular race is held over a flat course on quiet roads between Clevedon and Kingston Seymour village. Please visit the website for more information and entry links.
