Gordano Ladies maintained their perfect start to the season with a comfortable 36-0 win against Avonmouth Ladies on Sunday.
Try scorers were Lisa Hill and Libby Dooher, a great reward for an excellent first half.
There were further efforts from Alice Holden, who put in another tireless and brave performance, Cerys Priest, after great support from Ellie Jenkins and Dooher, Kat, Hannah Brasher and Coral Pike.
Pike was as dangerous as ever with her ferocious forays around the forwards and her quick penalties.
Lee Whonic had a storming game, with her first half performance the best she has ever played.
There were also wonderful individual performances from Daisy Davis, Zoe Shearing and Georgia Gale as the returning Katherine Fitzpatrick following her injury.
The second half was more impressive with Priest and Toya Chapman-Mercer giving Gordano extra potency, complementing the excellent running and tackling of the rest of the backs, where Ellie, Naomi, and Hannah were again outstanding.
Gordano put in a strong performance and recorded a fantastic result for their fourth win of the season.
But it would just have to be 36 points Gordano would score as they return to action on December 5 against NC 2 South West (Central) leaders Hornettes Ladies.
