Clevedon Golf Club’s male voice choir enjoyed success at the annual Mid Somerset Choir festival.

CLEVEDON Golf Club’s male voice choir Men Out of Bounds, travelled to the Guildhall in Bath, taking part in the annual Mid Somerset Choir festival.

Competing in four classes against both local choirs and choirs that had travelled from as far afield as Telford in Shropshire, Men Out of Bounds were awarded one merit and three commendations by adjudicator Fiona Clarke, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and herself an accomplished professional consort singer.

In class C13 for male voice choirs, the group sang two popular pieces - Moon River and The Peanut Vendor, finishing clear winners of the Arthur Trowbridge Challenge Trophy.
