IN their annual Creber/Winstone Memorial Trophy match, the Gordano Sharks Golf Society hosted Imperial RFC Golf Society at Tall Pines Golf Club.
IN their annual Creber/Winstone Memorial Trophy match, the Gordano Sharks Golf Society hosted Imperial RFC Golf Society at Tall Pines Golf Club.
The rugby men of Gordano reclaimed the trophy after a two year absence with a resounding 4.5 points to 1.5 victory.
Results: J Grant & D King beat A Pullin & D Willy 4&2; P Bond & M Voisey beat S Eld & G Davies 6&5; P Walker & G Collins (chairman) halved with S Cotterell & A Stevens; K Jacobs & L Prendergast beat A Rice & A Genna 3&2; J Bachelor & R Andrews beat C Jarrett & T Dix 3&2; R Hall & S Wallbridge lost to P Burt & J Gommo by one hole.
