Clevedon members scooped major prizes at the club's annual Mixed Open.

Charlotte Millington and George Cawse combined for a score of 75 to win the gross event, as Tracy and Steve Buckland won the nett with 44 points.

James Letham took the July medal with a nett 68, as Adam Williams topped Division One with the same score but lost on countback.

Jim Cunning won Division Two honours with 69, while the Seniors stableford was won by Paul Jeffery, who beat Alan Stewart on countback after both scored 38 points.

And Ian Bullock won the Midweek stableford on countback from Stuart Price, after both scored 42 points.

Clevedon's Sue Bamford and Laureen Angell had a convincing 4&2 win over Knowle in the BDLGA Handicap Foursomes and will face Worlebury or The Bristol in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Long Ashton's June Mills and Sandra Robinson won the Ladies Invitation Day with 45 points.

Midweek stableford: Ian Bullock 42, Stuart Price 42, Steve Lawrence 40.
