Challenging weather conditions made scoring difficult in the Ladies Medal at Clevedon Golf Club.

Sue Tasker took top spot in Division One ahead of Sarah Martin, after both carded nett 78s, to claim the Hall Cup.

Laureen Angell and Juliet Hagley claimed honours in the other groups, while senior vice-captain Rick Smith won the Arthur Hall Shield with a stableford score of 40 points.

Rob Doy took second place in Division One with 36 points, while Dave Stratford topped Division Two with the same haul.

Tony Somerville scored 40 points to win the Midweek Stableford, while Christopher Martin won the Saturday competition with 38 points.

The men's first team won their first Bristol & District League fixture, 3.5-1.5, against rivals Long Ashton.

Ladies Medal, Div 1: Sue Tasker 78, Sarah Martin 78, Heather Priestley 80.

Div 2: Laureen Angell 80, Lesley Wicking 87, Sandra Sharpe 87.

Div 3: Juliet Hagley 93, Val Owen 97.

Weekend Stableford: Christopher Martin 38, Chris Shipway 37, Richard Ponsford 36.

Senior Stableford, Div 1: Rick Smith 40, Rob Doy 36, Mike Ahiquist 36.

Div 2: Dave Stratford 36, Sandy Kemlo 35, Stephen Hill 34.

Midweek Stableford: Tony Somerville 40, Kevin Weaver 37, Andrew Creton 37.
