IT REALLY was a bad hair day for the ladies at Clevedon Golf Club. Throughout lady captain Sue Bamford’s fun competition, rain fell and the course became soggier and soggier.

IT REALLY was a bad hair day for the ladies at Clevedon Golf Club. Throughout lady captain Sue Bamford’s fun competition, rain fell and the course became soggier and soggier.

Nevertheless, this did not deter 25 hardy souls who completed a 14 hole bowmaker.

Afterwards, wigs were inspected 


closely and Barbara Lambert was adjudged to have the best hair set on the day.

Competition result: Sue Bamford, Maggie Philpot and Merriel Horler 52 pts; Ann Marsh, Marion Crew and Trish Rose 52.
