Clevedon travelled to The Ridings to take on Chipping Sodbury Town and after an even first-half conceded three goals without reply after the break to see the home side take all three points.

Clevedon’s first chance in the 15th minute saw Lucas Vowles receive the ball on the edge of the box before turning and shooting over the bar. Saikou Janneh had the chance to release Vowles but his pass was too firm and the keeper gathered the ball.

Janneh was found in space on the edge of the box and he managed to turn but could only shoot straight at Sam Burgess.

After the break, Clevedon could have taken the lead on 71 minutes when Tyler Ashmead played the ball through to Morgan Williams, whose shot from the edge of the six-yard box was straight at Burgess.

Chipping Sodbury took the lead on 76 minutes. Jack Parker managed to get in behind the Clevedon defence before crossing into the middle for Jake Thomas to shoot home.

The home side doubled their lead three minutes later when Clevedon were caught in possession just outside their own box allowing Thomas to smash the ball past Damien Freeman.

Chipping Sodbury wrapped the game up in the fourth minute of stoppage time when a free kick was whipped into the box and Freeman managed to push the ball onto the bar, but substitute Daniel Dempsey was the quickest to react to make i 3-0.
