Spot-on Camper is right man to rescue point for Clevedon

Clevedon Town came from behind to earn a share of the Toolstation Western League Premier Division points with Bridport.
Archie Ferris and Lucas Vowles forced early saves from Jason Hutchings, before the visitors took the lead on five minutes as Kameron Andrews fired past Sam Blackiston.
But the hosts went close to an equaliser on 11 minutes when Harry Smith’s corner was met by man of the match Glen Hayer, whose header was tipped over by Hutchings.
Blackiston went off with a hip injury soon after to be replaced by Dylan Wallis, but Hutchings remained the busier of the keepers, with a diving save denying Vowles.
A crossfield ball from Joshua Williams found Edward Butcher, who cut inside and shot wide, and Syd Camper picked out Hayer at a free-kick just before the break, but his header was grabbed by Hutchings.
The second half was barely a minute old when a bad back pass by James Cox gave Vowles a chance to charge down the clearance from Hutchings, with the ball deflecting just wide.
A trademark run by Tyler Ashead on 52 minutes found Smith, who had one shot blocked and blazed the rebound over.
And although Clevedon kept pushing forward, clear chances were at a premium, with a great cross by Ashmead evading Ferris nine minutes from time.
The home side got their reward on 86 minutes, though, when Camper collected the ball on the right and was fouled by Cox.
The referee pointed to the spot and after a lengthy delay for an injury to a Bridport player, Camper stepped up to convert the penalty, despite Hutchings getting a touch.
Both sides had late chances to snatch a winner, as Bridport captain Baredon Symes found Ben Morris, who saw a shot blocked by Danny Lock, before Dan Peach sent the follow-up across the face of goal.
Butcher then had a fierce drive deflected into the side netting by Wallis in the first minute of injury time, before Camper found Vowles on the left and his early shot was well saved low down by Hutchings.
Clevedon are set to visit Shepton Mallet this Saturday (3pm).
