PORTISHEAD Elite were knocked out of the GFA Sunday Minor Cup by the odd goal in seven on Sunday at home to Real Bristol Sports.

Danny Fowler opened the scoring for Portishead after good work from Keiran Marsden. Real Bristol Sports then took full advantage of Portishead’s makeshift goalkeeper Scott Collins, who made three errors to give the Bristol Regional side a 3-1 lead.

Fowler gave Portishead hope just before the break, converting a Ben Davis cross. Nic Steadman levelled for Portishead, but it wasn’t enough as Real Bristol scored the winner five minutes from time.
