Portishead Town United’s under-10 girls have said a big thank you to a local sponsor for their new kit.

Jamie Moore of Elemental Logic, a local company providing bespoke software and web solutions with over 15 years experience, agreed to help the team out.

And the girls are looking forward to playing in their new strip, with manager Russ Cripps saying: "We are very grateful for the new kit which will enable the squad to feel pride in their team and club.

"Sport is a very important part of growing up, helping to keep children healthy and allowing great friendships to form, benefitting the children throughout their lives.

"I am so proud to be part of this team. We will be passinng on the old kit, giving a new lease of life to disadvantaged children who also love sport from the developing world via a fantastic charity called 'Kitaid'."

Moore added: "As a local company we're extremely proud to put our name onto the new kit. They look so smart and I look forward to following their progress for the season."
