Portishead Town Ladies had a convincing win over Swindon Spitfires in the FA Women’s Cup preliminary round on Sunday.

Nathalie Zajaczkowski tucked home Emily Lindsey's cross to open the scoring on 12 minutes.

And Zajaczkowski joined up with Roby Lowe to set up Shannon Holloway to tuck under the keeper for 2-0.

Town added a third just before the break when Zajaczkowski tapped in from close range and Portishead maintained momentum in the second half.

Chloe Fensome's throw found Taylor Gainey, whose longball picked out Lindsey for a cool finish on 62 minutes and Lowe sprinted clear on the left to cross for Holloway to net the fifth.

Substitute Molly Yeatman netted with her first touch from Lindsey's cross, then converted from a Holloway centre after Swindon had replied through captain Claire Moreton.

Sarah Hooper took the Robert John Hairdressing player of the match award for Portishead, who start their league campaign at Ilminster on Sunday.
