Clevedon United Reserves have enjoyed a 100 per cent start to the new season.

CLEVEDON United Reserves have got off to a perfect start this season under player-manager Eugene Dunn and his assistant Colin Pollard.

They have won their three league games so far, beginning with a 6-0 drubbing away to Draycott. Mark Welch scored two with other goals coming from Chris Greenslade, Max James, Mike Banks and George Poole.

Poole was amongst the goals the following week, along with Banks, James and Nik Lee in a 4-0 victory at Berrow.

Last Saturday, United travelled to Cleeve for a local derby, which they dominated from start to finish. Ben Burns, Luke Hack, Ben Pavey and Nick Austin were the pick of the bunch. Two second half headers from Max James and Nik Lee completed a comfortable win for Dunn’s side.
