Action from Nailsea & Tickenham's win over Chard

Nailsea & Tickenham ran out convincing 8-0 winners over a young Chard Town side at Fryth Way on a crisp December day.

The Swags took an early lead as Josh Benjamin set up Jack Last in the opening minutes.

And it was 2-0 on 29 miutes as Chris Gale netted with a shot from outside the box.

N&T well and truly stamped their authority on the game in the second half, as Mike Walkington set up Joe Berry for the third goal.

Berry made it 4-0, before Luke Osgood got in on the act with number five and James Seeley slotted the sixth into the bottom corner.

After Berry completed his hat-trick, Osgood rounded things off on 80 minutes as Mat Shaunassy kept a clean sheet.

And delighted Swags manager Alan Smith said: "I'm very happy with the win, but feel the scoreline didn't entirely reflect the game.

"Chard's young side did not give up until the final whistle and their number three, Jake Board, gave an impressive performance."
