Portishead scored two late goals to defeat bottom club Wellington.
PORTISHEAD returned home after three consecutive away games and welcomed bottom side Wellington to Bristol Road.
Dominant and in control, Portishead took the lead on 25 minutes, great play from Dunn and Ross set up Danny Benn to score the only goal of the half.
Before anyone had settled for the second half, the visitors were level. Portishead were caught out, giving Mike Bawn in goal no chance. Ten minutes later the visitors went in front after poor some defending.
In need of a goal, Portishead changes, and substitute Steadman made his mark to equalise on 84 minutes. Soon after, the excellent Parsons crossed for Marsden to plant a great header into the far bottom corner to spark wild celebrations from the home side.
Portishead have no fixture on Saturday, but return to action at Oldland on October 3, before hosting Melksham in the Les Phillips Cup on October 6 and then Elmore at home in the league on October 13.
