Tom Creed made early saves from Matt Brown and Ben Dowdell, who also shot just wide for the hosts.

But Archie Ferris hit a post from a George King corner, before Keynsham countered and Dowdell cut into the box to open the scoring.

Creed produced further saves to deny Brown and Ben Harris before the Seasiders levelled as man of the match Elliot Nicholson found Lucas Vowles, who sent King away to place his shot past Ash Clark.

Vowles had a shot parried by Clark soon after, with Nathaniel Groom's follow-up blocked and Alex Twiggs seeing a deflected effort go just wide.

Nicholson was also off-target before Keynsham regained the lead on 28 minutes as Harris poked home following a scramble.

Harris and Dowdell went close for the home side late in the first half, before Creed denied Harris and Mitch Purnell.

But after Groom's shot was blocked and King fired into the hands of Clark it was 3-1 when Brown tapped home from a Purnell cross.

Clevedon started the second half well, as Ferris had a shot pushed away by Clark before Dowdell headed a Harris cross wide for Keynsham.

Dan Ferguson picked out Ferris, whose header flew over, before King found Jay Murray at the far post and he headed back across goal for Vowles who could not profit.

Vowles and Nicholson swapped passes on 70 minutes before Groom burst into the box to beat Clark, who saved from King and Vowles soon after.

And it was all square on 76 minutes when King made space on the left to cross into the box and Vowles volleyed past Clark.

And after Groom and Murray saw shots saved by Clark, Creed's long kick in the fifth minute of injury time was allowed to bounce and Vowles outmuscled Ade Harvey before slipping the ball past Clark for a last-gasp winner.

Victory lifted Clevedon up to fourth, ahead of a blank weekend due to their FA Vase exit, and they host Bridport this Saturday.
