Bristol League champions Portishead Under-13 Girls are looking to recruit new players for this season.

Any girls who are in year eight and would be interested in joining the club, are invited to come along to training on the Astro pitches at Gordano School on Fridays at 6.30pm.

The club has also been chosen for the Community Matters (green token) scheme for the month of October to raise much-needed funds for the club.

A fourth straight victory keeps Clevedon United Under-13 Girls top of the table after they beat Berrow 7-0.

All of the goals came in the first-half with players of the week Emily N (4) and Rosie (2) finishing well, plus an own goal.

There were fine performances throughout the team: Emily G, Hannah, Maisie R, Belle, Ellie, Maisie A-R, Emily W, Becky and Yasmin.

New players are wanted for the Under-11/12 girls’ squad. Please contact Paul on Paul.cujfc@yahoo.co.uk
