Swiss Valley Rangers saw their under-nines celebrate a first tournament win at the Somerset Junior Premier League seven-a-side event at Worle.

The Clevedon youngsters battled to a goalless draw with Portishead Town Colts in their first match, then beat Priory Pumas 3-0 with two goals from Oliver Down and one from Eli Longman.

And Dow added another double in a 2-0 wn over Worle Colts, which sent them through to the final.

The SVR defence held firm once again to record a fourth successive clean sheet in a tough contest, as two goals from Matthew Shallcross secured a 2-0 win over Portishead Town A to the delight of joint managers Gordon Dow and Marc Treasure.

The triumphant SVR squad included Dow, Longman, Shallcross, Rylee Treasure, Charlie Tillotson, Billy Dix and Arthur Bushby.
