Clevedon United Colts Under-15s enjoyed an emphatic 6-0 away victory at FC Locking.

The game got off to a good start with Ben Heron hitting the post with a great shot within the first few minutes. FC Locking defended well for the first-half, which ended 1-0 to Clevedon after a great goal by striker Sam Lewis.

The boys were fired up to push harder after their half-time talk and the second half kicked off with a goal by Kieran Gregory, closely followed by a powerful strike from Harry Perry, making it 3-0 to Clevedon.

Excellent defending by Clevedon stopped Locking from scoring and allowed Ewan Linnett and Harry John to keep the ball in Clevedon’s possession, allowing Lewis to score a hat-trick with two more goals and a further one from Perry, making the final score 6-0 to Clevedon.

Man of the match was Joe Pass.
