Portishead Elite 6 Hallen 3

PORTISHEAD Elite got back to winning ways on Sunday, knocking Hallen out of the County Cup.

Portishead started poorly and found themselves two goals down at half-time. Davis got Portishead back into the game soon after the break when his 35 yard shot went in off the crossbar.

Trevarthen levelled from the spot before Steadman put Portishead in front. Cutler scored his first goal for Portishead and then Ryan Purchase was sent off for handling on the line, the resulting penalty was converted. Trevarthen and Steadman both added another to put Portishead in the draw for the last 16.
