TICKENHAM continued their good league form as they produced another good display away at Portishead.

Tickenham took the lead after just 10 seconds when Chris Lane chipped a ball through to Dan Tempan, who slotted into the net. The strong wind was influencing the first-half and the score remained 1-0 at the break.

Tickenham upped their game in the second half and increased the lead when Tempan scored one of the goals of the season with a strike from 30 yards. Jamie Smith made it 3-0, poaching a goal inside the box after good work from Matty Collins.

The midfield trio of Lane, Smith and Smithson had a firm grip on the game and Collins and Tempan out wide were causing the Portishead defence problems.

Tempan scored his hat-trick with a neat drive into the corner and his fourth after substitute Sam Bishop put through a precise pass. Portishead pulled one back before Jamie Smith made it 6-1.

The Ring O’Bells man of the match was Dan Tempan.
