Clevedon United Junior Football Club held their 30th anniversary presentation evening on Sunday.

More than 400 children attended the three sessions, including boys, girls and the club's inclusive section.

And the club celebrated the fact that it now has 26 teams, ranging from reception age group to under-16s, having been set up 30 years ago when a group of 11 boys asked if they could form a team.

A spokesperson said: "They had to bring their own footballs and put down coats for goalposts but Clevedon United Junior Football Club was born.

"The club would also like to wish the under-16 boys and girls' teams all the best in the future."
