Clevedon United Juniors under-nine girls were edged out in the semi-finals of the Bristol Rovers Supporters’ tournament on Sunday.

They won three games and drew two, before a 3-1 loss to Portishead in the last four.

Their under-eight squad were also in action against seven local teams in a round-robin event, with all players getting plenty of minutes.

Georgia and Maisie were fearless, while Ella P and Eloise shone in goal.

Caitlyn worked tirelessly in midfield, as Solene showed her skills and Ella H made some quality passes.

Farah's set-up play also caught the eye and Lizzie impressed in attack for the team, who enter the Bristol League in September.

Clevedon United JFC is an FA Charter Standard club with boys and girls teams from reception to U16.
