Clevedon United under-eight girls face the camera

Clevedon under-eight girls made the perfect start to their first season in the Bristol Girls’ League with a hard-fought 8-5 win at Whitchurch Sports.

They raced into a 3-0 lead inside 10 minutes and remained in control throughout, with Isabelle pulling off some great saves in goal.

Their defence was superbly marshalled by Seren, as Ella H pulled the strings in midfield alongside the all-action Lizzie.

Ella M and Farah formed an exciting partnership in attack, scoring four and three goals respectively, with an own goal completing their tally.
