AFC Nailsea showed further signs of improvement after a draw with Burnham A.

Sporting their new away kit, kindly sponsored by local business John Brown from High Street, Nailsea, they led until the 85th minute when Burnham hit back to earn a 1-1 draw.

When the two sides met earlier in the season, AFC had suffered a 7-2 defeat due to the fact they were reforming a reserve team and with new young players signing for both, they still had to gel.

But their latest result, in which Lewis Carr took the man of the match award, highlighted how much they have progressed, with AFC showing strength and determination in a hard-fought match.

A club spokesperson said: “AFC Nailsea would like to thank local firm John Brown for their support in helping the club provide a new away kit.”
