Clevedon United Under-14 Girls hosted Somerset FA’s first football festival of the season on a wet and windy Saturday.
The Clevedon girls played impressively in the three games with every single player making an impact in each game.
The first game ended with Clevedon on top, beating current league leaders and then final two games the girls could not quite pull off a result.
The team of Roseanna, Charlotte, Iva, Maria, Evie, Eleni, Abi, Tia, Amelia, Phoebe, Holly, Ruby, Maisy and Leah pulled off their best performances this season with impressive goals from Iva, Holly and Leah.
However, the team performance was the real highlight as they ended the year on a high. Girl of the match was awarded to Maisy, who was tireless and whose link-up play was spot on.
