Cleeve Cricket Club is looking for more members to join for the new season.

Cleeve Cricket Club boasts two adult teams and a strong junior section with Under-11s, 13s and 15s, as well as Kwik Cricket for the younger boys and girls.

It has one of the largest level playing surfaces in North Somerset, chosen each year to host a number of county youth matches, its own clubhouse with bar and excellent three-lane net facility.

Indoor nets start at Nailsea School on Sunday evenings from February 26, before training outside on evenings from 6.30pm – adults on Tuesdays and youngsters on Fridays.

Additional members are welcome from youngsters, looking to start the game, to adults looking to play a more serious cricket with the first team, where this year’s overseas player is shortly to be announced, to the less serious (but still competitive) 2nd team.

So, if you are interested in taking up the game again after a break, whether for the odd game or every week, new to the area, perhaps a change of club, whether player, umpire, scorer or just to benefit from a social membership, please contact club secretary Stuart Williams on 07771 820054.
