Nailsea beat Bedminster

Nailsea Under-13s enjoy success against Bedminster.

NAILSEA Under-13s entertained a spirited Bedminster team at the Grove and choose to bat first, but lost opener Harry Davies without scoring.

Jack Houston and Chris Green (35 not out) both batted well to push the score along. Wickets tumbled against the accurate Bedminster bowling,.

An unbeaten stand of 43 from Sam Iles (29) and the rapidly developing Jake Richardson (13) took the score to 128-6.

Nailsea bowled and fielded well with Matt Edwards accounting for Ley and Omar in his second over. There were further wickets for Ben Pinkney, Iles and Richardson before all-rounder Ollie Cattermole produced a stunning bowling performance with four wickets in just six balls to ensure Nailsea were winners by 65 runs.
