Cricketers wanted at Failand & Portbury

Failand & Portbury Cricket are recruiting new players for the forthcoming season.

FAILAND and Portbury Cricket Club are recruiting new players as they look to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.

The club run two Saturday teams in the Bristol & District League, a friendly Sunday XI playing opposition of varying strengths, and a hugely popular midweek 20:20 side.

The club is situated in the picturesque village of Failand in North Somerset, only five minutes from the M5 at the Portbury junction and just over the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Players of all ages and standards are welcome, especially youngsters.

During the season, nets take place on Tuesday nights from 6pm, everybody is welcome to come along and get involved. Winter indoor nets have started and sessions are being held at The Downs School in Wraxall, Tuesday nights from 7.30pm through to April 7.
