Claverham A recover to defeat Pak Bristolians.

CLAVERHAM A lost the toss against Pak Bristolians and were asked to field first.

The Bristolians got off to a good start and were in a strong position at 98-2, but in the next 14 overs, eight wickets fell for 45 runs.

Jack Clements took two wickets and a run out, Gary Howells took 2-9 and two catches, Nigel Yates finished with 3-9 as Pak Bristolians slumped to 143 all out.

In reply, Claverham struggled against the bowling of Qamar who finished with 5-19 and were reduced to 61-6.

Chris Hazell and 15-year-old Jordan Hickey steadied the ship and built up a 44-run partnership before Hickey was bowled for 24.

With 39 still required, another 15-year-old, Jack Clements batted solidly to see Claverham home with two overs to spare, as Hazell finished on 32 not out.
