Clevedon Athletic Club members enjoyed races at Burnham and Bristol.

CLEVEDON Athletic Club members Dawn Barcham, Jane Cooley and soon to be grandad Neil Wallace, raced in the Burnham 5k Winter Series.

In a good all-round performance, they were made to feel very welcome at this enjoyable race and bumped into former club member Len Horlock.

Congratulations go to members who ran in the Gwent XC League at the Blaise Castle estate in Bristol. Good luck to all those running the last Gloucester XC race of the series this Saturday, and certainly those doubling up and running the (10-mile) Tough Ten (re-named the Two Bay Tough 10) in Weston the following day.

If you wish to join in with the success of the club, come along to one of our sessions and give it a go. The club meet at various times for training, including a weekly indoor cross training session on a Monday.

The weekly Tuesday and Thursday running sessions start at 7pm at Strode Leisure Centre, Clevedon. Other coached sessions are also offered over the weekends.

Further information is available on the club website www.clevedonac.co.uk
