Clevedon AC members took part in 20-mile races at the weekend ahead of spring marathon outings.

Jeanne Fairs travelled to Gloucestershire for the 20:20 Fission Run and finished in a fine 2:58.52.

A group of eight went to the Gloucester 20 with Lee Southernwood first home for Clevedon in 2:13.07, ahead of Tom Abrahams (2:14.00), Tim Nabosi (2:14.59), Simon Smith (2:27.47), Jason Moss (2:29.22), Jemma Lewis (2:32.56), Nigel Charman (2:38.11) and Simon Hawkes.

Luke Murray put in a fine performance at the Bath half marathon, finishing in 1:13.46 for 47th place in a field of over 15,000 runners.

Chris and Donna Davies were at Reading where the route heads around the city, through University campus grounds and ends in the supporter-packed stadium, finishing in 1:44.48 and 1:50.16 respectively.
