Clevedon AC members have been in action across the UK and Europe as the new race season gets well underway.

Lee Southernwood and Jason Moss headed to Manchester for the marathon, clocking 3:01.55 and 3:18.30 respectively.

Francesca Rawlings took part in the Rotterdam event and, despite an injury at mile 21, came home in 3:50.38 in support of the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

A group of seven women went to Berlin for the half marathon, with Laura Meech leading the way in 1:37.50.

Helen Ball (1:44.16), Paul Hall and Nicole Skippins (1:59.56), Steph James (2:01.07), Kerry Coombes (2:01.48) and Marie Lochrie (2:08.07) were also in action.

And the 36th Taunton half marathon saw all Clevedon athletes gain age group placings, with Andy Heyes second M55 in 1:28.20.

Sally Richards was third L40 in a best of 1:43.42, Alison Roberts was first L65 in 1:54.02 and Malcolm Roberts was first M70 in 1:54.32.
