Starting from Caenarfon with an overnight stop in Newtown, the race finishes with the final runners crossing the packed finish line in Bute Park, Cardiff.

And this year saw 64 teams in action, with Clevedon entering one in the open category and another in the ladies event.

Despite being up against much larger clubs, the men ran hard and had another successful finishing time to place 11th overall.

The event was new to most of the ladies, with 17 of the 20-strong squad having not competed before, but they ran well to finish eighth out of nine teams.

Joanne Gallagher was first female to finish stage 16 and crowned Queen of the Mountains for the club.

Anyone who would like to join Clevedon AC are welcome to attend training sessions on Tuesday and Thursdays, leaving from Strode Leisure Centre at 7pm. See for more.
