Clevedon Sailing Club enjoy Laying Up Supper

Clevedon Sailing Club held their annual Laying Up Supper on Saturday, with more than 50 members and guests enjoying the evening.
Rachel Elliott won the Slow Handicap Spring and Summer Series after sailing well with Amy Turner and was also awardeed the Powder Monkey Trophy for best cadet.
Robin Goff took the Fast Handicap Spring and Summer Series silverware, as Chris Cooper claimed honours in the Evening Series.
And new member Bruno Tinel took the Rudderless Trophy for putting the Commodore's boat on the rocks during the Town Plate event early in the season, but did also claim the Best Improver award.
Des and Daphne Challice were presented with the Elton Cup for outstanding commitment to the club, as Mike Batchelor received the Velindra Trophy.
Commodore Robin Goff announced that Ian, Sue, Sarah and Joe Hotchkiss would be the first recipients of the RYA Family Award, to be presented by Princess Anne in London on November 22.
