Clevedon United’s under-11 girls produced a strong display against Ashton at Hazell Close on Sunday.
They fell behind after only three minutes, but Edie and Shae defended well after that and Hope looked confident in goal to keep it at 1-0.
Harper pounced on a free-kick from Maddie to lash into the top corner and level and Evie scored a second to settle Clevedon's nerves.
Ashton hit back to make it 2-2 and both sides hit the woodwork, as Hope pulled off a fingertip save.
Macey, Samantha and Phoebe stood strong when Ashton attacked and Clevedon scored some fine goals from Maddie (2) and Ella in the last 10 minutes.
Cassidy continued to impress, as did Ruby, as Maddie took the player of the match award in a great team performance.
Clevedon United under-11s would also like to thank Benchmark Project Management (UK) Limited for sponsoring the girls' kit this season.
