Clevedon AC members had a great turnout at the Bristol 10k, with several making their distance debuts.

Mark Cooper and Stuart Heath were first to finish, in 38.48 and 38.58 respectively, as Jo Gallagher led the women home in a new best of 39.21.

Laura Meech (40.40), Debbie Powell (41.05) and Mark Templer (41.49) were next to finish, as Jack Marston (46.58), Simon Hancock (47.56), Ross Larner (48.38) and Nicole Morrow (49.51) broke the 50-minute mark.

Laura Clapp (51.58), Antony Wild (55.07), Kevin Neads (55.30), Stephanie Budd (55.54), Hayley Wild (61.52), Nick Powell (62.00) and Clare Holdaway (62.33) also ran.

Members also performed well at the London Marathon, with Tim Nabosi leading Clevedon home in an impressive 2:54.50.

Simon Smith set a new best of 3:20.15 and Pete Wheddon defied recent injuries to finish in 3:45.43, as Jeanne Fairs (4:02.41) and Ben Sharp (4:10.15) completed the line-up.
