Clevedon AC members were among the prize winners at the Nailsea Beer & Banger 10k last Friday.

Starting at Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club, runners tackled country lanes with a few climbs.

And favourable conditions saw them enjoy some fine times, with Steve Wood sixth overall and first in the M40 age group in 36.32.

Tim Nabosi was seventh in 37.13, ahead of Martin Hewlett (38.19) and Tom Abrahams (38.54).

Francesca Rawlings was first female to finish in 40.16, ahead of Chris Vauden (40.35) and Jemma Lewis, who clocked 49.33 on her return from injury.

Runners were rewarded with a pint and artisan hot dog after the race!

Anyone interested in joining Clevedon AC can join training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, leaving from Strode Leisure Centre at 7pm.

More details are available on their website clevedonac.co.uk.
