Category successes for Portishead pair

Two Portishead Running Club members won their categories at the Two Bay Tough Ten in Weston.

Portishead Running Club had a grand day out at the seaside, with Pat Foley and Judy Orme winning the M50 and F60+ categories at the Two Bay Tough Ten in 1.09.56 and 1.26.30 respectively.

Charlie Hurcum (1.18.21) and Linda Foley (1.23.27) were second in the seniors and F50 categories, with Judith Dyer (1.51.55) topping off a great performance by the club.

This extended into the sister Friendly Five race, where Sonya Pratt won the F40 category in 36.55 and Kevin Daniels was second M65 in 50.28.

In far less clement conditions, Tim Haysom successfully tackled the Rok The Stones trail marathon in 5.20 and Richard Nuell finished second in the VM60 category in the Avon Valley Railway multi-terrain race, in 1.16. Mike Martin flew the flag at the Moorland multi-terrain, his 54.17 earning him 42nd place.
