Nailsea Running Club has enjoyed another busy, varied and successful month.

There was a good showing of eight members taking part in the Two Tunnels Half Marathon in Bath, while earlier this month a similar number took part in the excellent Portishead multi-terrain 10k in glorious weather conditions, with veteran John Mallone finishing first in his age category in a fantastic time of 42 minutes.

Meanwhile, Ali Wight competed in the Berlin Half Marathon and closer to home John Rooney achieved a personal best in the Reading Half Marathon.

Away from running, the club found time for a spot of wine tasting at Averys in Bristol.

Nailsea Running Club is a friendly community running club. New members of all standards are always welcome - www.nailsearunningclub.org.uk
