Archant

Yatton Bowling Club recently played host to local groups and organisations to introduce people to the sport and encourage them to join a local club.

Various fun bowling games were played, revealing some hidden talents amongst the guests - many of whom had never played before.

New members, whether experienced or not, are welcome to join on Monday nights (5.45pm for a 6pm start) for a relaxed and friendly "roll up" where free coaching is available.

If required, bowls can also be loaned and all that is needed is a sense of humour, enthusiasm and a pair of flat soled shoes.

The club plays in various leagues, competitions and friendly matches and has an active social programme in the winter.

For information please call Simon 01275 878451 or Alison 01934 833547. Please use the car park or pedestrian entrance gate located to the right of the driveway to Yatton School.
