Open mixed tournament at Portishead

A cash prize of £100 is offered to the winners of the Portishead Open Mixed Tournament to be held on June 4.

The Association of Portishead Bowling Clubs has great pleasure in announcing the Portishead Open Mixed Tournament will take place on June 4.

This competition will take place on Sunday 4th June 2017 at Portishead Bowling Club. As last year, 48 pairs of bowlers will compete for the Peter Howard Memorial Trophy with the runners-up being awarded the Maurice Jordon Trophy. Each trophy will be held for a 12-month period.

For those who may not have previously entered this tournament, there will also be a cash prize of £100 awarded to each of the winners, with £75 to each runner-up and £50 each for third place.

The club is unable to provide a plated meal as on previous occasions, but there is provision to pre-order various baguettes when submitting your entry form. The coffee shop will be open as usual and there will be provision to pre-order drinks from the bar on the day.

All entries must be submitted before April 30 and the fee is £6 each or £12 per couple.
