THE Royal Oak continued their good run in Division A of the Portishead & Pill Skittles League at home against league leaders The Taveners.

THE Royal Oak continued their good run in Division A of the Portishead & Pill Skittles League at home against league leaders The Taveners.

A good score of 43 by Brian Shergold saw the the Oak off to good start with the rest of the team continually 
putting pressure on the plucky visitors.

Leading for most of the match, rookie John Tantram found his form and in a close finish The Royal Oak ran out overall winners by 316-315, therefore securing the 10 point bonus and 16 league points.
