A depleted Nailsea & Tickenham side travelled to Cornwall and celebrated a 2-0 victory over Saltash United.
Nailsea & Tickenham had extra fire in their bellies after losing 2-1 to the same side at the JLC Stadium only three weeks ago.
Despite missing nine first-team players, the visitors managed to keep Saltash at bay throughout the match.
The first half saw few chances, with Nailsea's Shea Manning missing a golden opportunity in the 10th minute, and Saltash's Kieran O'Melia blasting high and wide from 15 yards out in the 36th minute.
However, Nailsea's defence, led by stand-in centre-half Charlie Saunders, stood firm.
The second half saw a change in pace and control from Nailsea, as they immediately put the hosts under pressure with three consecutive corners.
Substitute Oscar Collins gave his side the lead in the 51st minute with a shot that spun into the top corner of the net, leaving Saltash's goalkeeper Jordan Duffy with no chance.
10 minutes later, Collins turned provider, his left-wing cross finding Luke Osgood unmarked in the six-yard box, who made no mistake with his close-range header to double the lead.
The makeshift defence, with Jason Mellor back in the first-team goal, continued to withstand Saltash's attempts to get back into the game.
A deflected Tom Payne shot that clipped the top of the crossbar was the closest they came.
Other than that, Mellor only had straightforward saves to make.
As Saltash pushed forward, Nailsea broke away.
A good shot from Manning forced Duffy into a good save.
Then, a surging 50-yard run out of defence by man of the match, Charlie Saunders, set up Oscar Collins, and yet again, Duffy made a good save.
A Nailsea & Tickenham spokesperson said: "A very happy Swags squad travelled back up the M5 in fine voice with three points."
Nailsea & Tickenham's next home game is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, at 3pm at the JLC Stadium where they will face Welton Rovers in the Toolstation Western League.
