TWO Master Grades have been awarded to members of Clevedon Tang Soo Do this month.
Rhianon and Vicky Richards have both been training for over 25 years and have both worked very hard for this prestigious grade.
The sisters were awarded their 4th Dan Master Black Belt grades for competing in Tang Soo Do at the Clevedon Tang Soo Do club.
Clevedon Tang Soo Do club has been running for over 30 years, meeting on Monday nights from 7:30pm - 9:00pm at Yeo Moor Primary School.
Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art that is based on karate and incorporates fighting principles from other martial arts. It is also known as Korean Karate or Dang Soo Do.
Speaking on their recent Master Grades, Rhianon said: “Gaining my 4th Dan was an amazing achievement.
"I have epilepsy, which makes it challenging to remember the longer combination of moves that you need to demonstrate at this level.
"Lots of practice made it possible to get it right on the day.”
