Nailsea Bowls Club Captains Day was an outstanding success with 50 club bowlers enjoying the festivities.
Captains Janet Hobson and Brian Powell coordinated bowls challenges and a buffet.
A bounty-filled raffle was organised courtesy of local businesses Brabantia, Browns Hardware, Broadstreet and Nailsea Motor Factors, which collected £300 for the Great Western Air Ambulance.
A spokesperson for the club said: "Thanks to all that attended to make this another great Nailsea Bowls Club success!"
