Cleeve CC ran out of steam in the National T20 Cup, falling to Maesteg CC.
The clash saw Cleeve lose by nine wickets on a sweltering day in Maesteg.
Cleeve's skipper, Sam Williams, initially won the toss and opted to bat.
The team started strong with Mitch Want hitting the initial two deliveries for boundaries.
However, Williams was out for LBW at 10-1, before he was joined back in the changing rooms by Want who landed a top score of 21.
Beyond Want, only Connor Hance (14) and Jack Spiers (10) achieved double figures.
Cleeve concluded their innings with a disappointing 71 in the 17th over.
In the field, Cleeve missed crucial catches, managing only a consolation wicket for Glenn Lewin — caught by Connor Hance.
Maesteg emerged as the winners at the end of the 12th over.
