Clevedon Promenade Bowling Club had a busy schedule last week, including a friendly against visiting side Troedyrhiw.
First Promenade took on Welsh club Troedyrhiw in a mixed friendly and lost a close match by a single point, 86-87.
The highest scoring rink for Clevedon on the day were S Raftery, C Roberts, J Gover and G Warren who won their end 22-6.
In the Weston Over 55s Triples League Promenade took on Banwell and put on a great performance to win 111-85.
Highest scorers for the day were K Hill, M Cordwell and P Pearce who won 25-8.
Promenade took on Portishead in the Clevedon and District Over 55s Triples League and played well, scoring a total of 91, but just losing out to Portishead’s 95.
Best performers of the day were K Hill, N Pedder and M Davis who dominated their ends, winning 26-4.
Finally Promenade won 92-73 against Nailsea after a good performance in the Clevedon and District Evening League.
Joint top scorers for the day were the rinks of T Partridge, G Warren, D Demery and C Crees, and I Harding, A Alvis, P Bissett and M Davis who both won their ends with 23 points.
